Educate and equip Parents and Educators with the tools and resources to meet the needs of ALL learners with the integration of specialized knowledge leading to improved student outcomes.
Professional Development
I wouldn't be where I am without solid coaching from my colleagues and academic coaches. Just like athletes, educators need coaches too! The majority of educators want to learn, and want to improve outside of the few days of professional development given a year. We want to make a difference and make an impactful change in the lives of our students. ALL teachers can benefit from this inclusive work. The skills and instructional tools provided, will increase student achievement for students who have been qualified for specialized service and for those students who struggle but, are not qualified for specialized services.
There is a growing body of research indicating that coaching can help create the conditions necessary for instructional practices to change and student outcomes to improve. As a classroom teacher, behavior therapist and Interventionist, I have experience increasing student outcomes through targeted strategic coaching and individualized planning.
